the funny part of the creative process.
Day 4 of 30 — Public Thoughts
I held off on this website project for about a year and a half now.
I’ve thought about it. Too much.
Put down some ideas.
But was never quite a priority.
So it stayed on the back burner.
UNTIL…
I found BlogBear.dev
It is the simple website deign I am looking for, with an even simpler backend builder!
So now I’ve just started but now… what do I put on here?
Initially I had no idea.
Like what’s my angle?
What formats will I use?
Shoot, I don’t even know WHAT content I wanted to make!
But getting a few days into the MBC.
Moving.
Momentum… building.
Ideas are FLOWING with the next steps become crystal clear.
Ok.. maybe not crystal clear yet, but you get what I mean.
Because used to try and wait for things to be crystal clear… AND THEN start…
But it’s really just not how the creative process works (for me at least).
It’s like a flywheel…
- Output
- Input
- Move
- Sleep
- (Possibly add “Reflection” — I go back and forth on whether I think it’s part of the “Output” stage.)
That is my Creative Process.
When this cycle gets going result of this is…
A-Ha Moments
Growth. Clarity on what’s next.
But I never have any of that without the “Output!”
Flywheels don’t spin with a missing part! (Even if it feels so counter intuitive to the human nature of wanting all the details first!)
So it's cool to see what's emerging. Stay tuned, for what’s next...
And cheers to just starting 🍻
