day 30.

Day 30 of 30 — Public Thoughts

Today marks the end of this 30 day writing challenge…

… with this challenge…

Not with writing.

Before this challenge I knew that I enjoyed writing, but after refocusing the last 30 days I found I really — really — enjoy writing.

The ability to take ideas I think about…

Sharpen them,

Expand them,

And recombine them with other ideas is addicting.

So finding that out is a huge win by itself.

But some other takeaways/discoveries —

  1. Didn’t finish as many “Pages” as I’d like…
  2. Maybe don’t start two challenges at once, but at the same time…
  3. Doing videos and writing at the same time helped me realize how much more I enjoy writing…
  4. Looking back at my writing (and PR30 videos so far) I don’t want what I’m writing and the persona I adopt to fall into an “Expert” frame. I tend to adopt that frame previous writing, but I think I want this journey to be more about curation. Like “hey look what I found” which saves you time and helps inspire “What’s Next.”
  5. I need more feedback! Love Bear Blog and writing on here but there’s not a fast, consistent feedback cycle. Which leads too…

The real question…

What’s next?

High level — I love writing, so going to keep practicing and building this site. Finish the PR30 Challenge on YouTube.

**Clarity through iteration **— Focus on the curator persona. But explore the idea of Momentum, explore more into World-Building, and some of these topics that interest me. So I can iterate, iterate, iterate!

Feedback — I need to commit to a platform and learn it. YouTube? Twitter/X? IG? Currently thinking I’ll do a PR30 Challenge to learn Twitter/X and see if that is a place I can focus on writing AND get feedback.

Overall, awesome experience. Highly recommend. If you do it email me letting me know :)
